Detailed Product Description

The oil immersion single-phase circuit breaker for equipment protection(TR01) is for protects over-load and fault current device of disstribution oil immersive transformer. This product was developed fully according to the ANSI/IEEE C37.41 test standard. The main functions of this breaker is protects distribution transformers from over-current damaging, auto-trip when low oil level of transformer, "On-Off" switching the transformer with close-open indicator. The oil circuit breaker combines safety and convenient operating provides the transformer perfect protection and trouble free.

Current sensor:

The current sensor of this interrupter is a particular magnetic material. Magnetic flux density depends on the temperature rise cause by load current and the coil temperature of transformer. When the temperature rise to highest operation temperature 140 ^oC, magnetic element loss the magnetic force and trip the circuit. TR01 sensor element is hermetic design. The circuit can be closed after 3~5 minutes of the circuit tripped if sensor temperature cool down to the normal oil temperature.

Low oil level sensor:

TR01 insulation oil low level sensor consist a floating drum with oil cup. The most significant advantage is the floating drum immersed under oil surface always to avoid the malfunction cause by earthquake or vibration of car running; to prevent the circuit breaker and transformer operating at insufficient oil level, the weight of oil cup offer the load for trip mechanism when oil level is too low.

Tripping indicator:

The operation bar of breaker mechanism is eccentric designed. When mechanism of circuit breaker tripped, the operation level will rotate bak about 10o. The indicator at the end of the operation bar will move to trip position.

Tripping device:

The arcing chamber is direct and side browse designed. The shell of chamber is a strong cast tube, has sufficient pressure resist ability to overcome the high pressure cause from fault current. The main contactor of circuit breaker is made by Cu-Wu alloy suitable for long life cycle operation. The circuit breaker has been tested according to ANSI/ IEEE C37.41 at 8.3kV, 2200A, offering the best protection coordination for transformer.

Material:

The model case is a special plastics material suitable out door used, has perfect aging and degradation resistance characteristics, very good mechanical impact strength and heat resistance performance. All components can operate under 140^oC environment and have approved that met E057 test standards of Taiwan Power Company.

Mechanism:

The design of mechanism of the circuit breaker was modified from load breaker switch and circuit breaker, the metal parts are special alloy, O-ring of oil seal use the best oil resistive rubber material, it was tested at 140^oC environment, 7PSI pressure, 1000 times continuous operations.

Application:

The circuit breaker with full range current limiting fuse and arrester offer all kinds protection for distribution transformer. The circuit breaker install at the primary side of transformer faults current are interrupted by the circuit breaker or current limiting fuse. Secondary faults and overloads will trip the circuit breaker also. The low insulation oil is protected from transformer operate at no oil condition.
