Post Composite Insulator specification is as follow:

Rated Voltage: 15kV

Dry Voltage Withstand: 70kV

Wet Voltage Withstand: 50kV

Impulse Voltage Withstand: 120kV

Bending Strength: 2800 pounds

Materials and construction:

1. The material of insulator is silicone rubber, suits for the distribution wiring devices, and the dimension will not be against to the normal characteristics.

2. The leaking creepage distance of post type insulator is 462mm±5.

3. The material of insulator shed is silicone rubber (SR), made of polymer insulating materials.

4. Polymer insulating materials are made of high quality polymer materials (SR). The integration of the parts makes it waterproof and water resistant, anti UV ray and aureole resistant.

5. The metal parts are ductility cast iron which meets and according to the Material Standard E001-Hot Dip Galvanized Operation Requirement of Taiwan Power Company.

6. Insulator assembled insulator pin, in both the center line is not identically crooked, and the insulator can install firmly in the insulator pin, not vibrated falls off. It coordinates source material, anticorrosion and installment of the steel crossarm.

7. Posy type insulator is with insulator pin. The material of insulator pin, nut and the thread of a screw meet Taiwan Power Company Material-E046 Standard. In the regulation of Insulator support pin, after assembling, the base of post type insulator can be entirely connected with crossarm.
