Fuse component of Oil Immersing Full Range Fuse (High Voltage fuse)(TR02) meets ANSI/ IEEE C37.41 and IEC 60282-1. Its melting curve meets ANSI/ IEEE C 37.41 type C.

Construction:

Oil Immersing Full Range Current Limiting Fuse (TR02) designed combine expulsion link and current limiting back up fuse. The fuse links are winding on mica supporter and fills with high purity silicon sands in the fiberglass housing.

Low current element:

Silver wire is enclosed by silicon rubber tube. The middle of silver wire is soldered by low melting point alloy. The low melting point first melting when current high enough, after the wire broken then cause arcing between two silver wire segment, the silicon rubber product high pressure gas by high arcing temperature. This high pressure gas explore at last and clearing the fault current.

Back-up fuse element:

Silicon sand:

TR02 full range fuse uses high purity silicon sand filler. It is specific particle size, egg shape natural silicon sand and has been purity and dry treated before filled. This sand provides good heat absorbing and arc-quenching properties.

Terminal:

TR02 full range fuse uses clamp terminal for lead connection. The terminal is soldered on the metal cap at terminals of fuse housing. It is easy connection without any drill and keeping the fuse at well seal, increasing the reliability of the fuse.
